The PTA raises funds to sponsor after-school enrichment programs for the students at Delevan. With the support of our community, we are able to offer a variety of programs to broaden our students’ educational experience. Our Delevan Clubs are offered to all students.
We are excited to welcome back after school clubs at Delevan Drive! Due to limited physical space on campus caused by construction, the Fall session of after school clubs is running lean.
Our goal is to ramp up again for a robust Spring!
**Due to popularity & limited space, registration will be done through a lottery system.

GARDEN CLUB
Grades 3-6 || Mondays @2:30-3:30 || FREE!* 10 sessions

Did you know that our school was once a working farm and garden? Come learn more and get your hands dirty with us in the Delevan Garden Club! We'll learn about plants, observe critters, and examine nature through a scientific lens.
Max. Student: 20
*PTA funding has subsidized all administration fees + supplies.

FINE ART CLUB
Grades 3-6 || Thursdays @2:30-3:30 || FREE! 9 Sessions || *1st class on Wed. 10/2 due to unassigned day on 10/3. The rest of the session will be held on Thursdays
FINE ART with Ms. Yee & Ms. Custodio
Come and explore and learn about the Masters of art. We will recreate artwork of some of the greats like: Mondrian, Van Gogh, O’Keefe, Pollack and more!

CLUB DATES: 10/2*, 10/10, 10/17, 10/24, 11/7, 11/14, 11/21, 12/5, 12/12 (Starting on WED 10/2, then Thursdays for the rest of the session. Skipping 10/31 for Halloween / Harvest Fest and 11/28 for thanksgiving)
JOIN THE ORCHESTRA
Grades K-6 || Wednesdays @ 2:30-4:40* || 26 Sessions, ~$27 per session
Music class with The orchestra place:
No matter your child’s experience level, our program welcomes all students who are interested in learning how to play woodwind, brass, or string instruments – including ukulele and piano. This club runs through the year, culminating in an unforgettable year-end concert.
*Each time slot is roughly 30-40 minutes. Cost does not include instrument rental.

HIKING CLUB || with Hawks la
grades K-6 || Thursdays @ 2:30-5:30 || $65/class
hiking club with Hawks LA
HAWKs (Hiking Adventures With Kids) is an off campus club where students will adventure outdoors and learn about native flora and fauna, play nature-based games, create and journal, and foster their connection to nature through hands-on fun and discovery. Students are picked up at from school after the last bell in the HAWKS van, then brought back to Delevan Drive Elementary to be picked up outside the school by their parents/guardians by 5:45pm.
